Located in the rural landscape of Grafton, this house gives a glimpse of 19th century life in Ontario. It is an important place to visit especially if you want to get into the history of the people of Ontario. The house was built between the years 187 and 1819. If you look at this small building, you will find it the best example of the earliest Neoclassical architecture. The house has a lot of historical importance and it is currently operated by the Ontario Heritage Trust. In the year 1959, this beautiful house was listed as National Historic Site of Canada. The museum in this house has a huge collection of furniture, china, books and newspapers, cookware, children's toys, photographs, scrapbooks, and more providing information about the life in 19th century Ontario.
