Fundacion Rodriguez-acosta - Review

Designed by the painter Jose Maria Rodriguez-Acosta in the early 20th century, the Fundacion Rodriguez-Acosta showcases the best of art, tastes and styles.

The whole place exudes the design taste of the painter and gives you a peek into his environment and likes. From the stately entrance to the addition of fountains and sculptures that bring a certain air of romance to the place, the charisma of the building is hard to ignore.

  • Wow, it is a hidden gem of Granada. I bought ticket as combined ticket to Alhambra (it was the olny one left). I didn’t really know what to expect, but what a place. The architecture and each detail to be perspective I can even describe how good it was. I had a wonderful guided tour in English (really good one) and at that time I was there only one so a private tour It was about that time as I was told (you know siesta at 14) but this is open whole day. I’m so glad that after half day at Alhambra I didn’t skip this remarkable place. I recommend this stop to evyrone who like architecture (not only them but everyone) a buy this as option with Alhambra or go by yourself and enjoy. You won’t regret it. And the view 🙂

  • Artists' retreat. Peaceful, lush and great views.

  • Unique Carmen (traditional house in Granada). Different from usual carmen because it was designed by a painter. Very interesting to see the 4-floor gardens. You can find inspiration everywhere

  • Stunning architecture and gardens

  • Very interesting monument. I liked guide's English and Spanish speaking.
