Travelling can be a headache for families with children. The itinerary can be very difficult to plan; one cannot overwhelm the tiny ones with a never ending parade of historical sites and art museums. Equal importance needs to be given to fun and entertainment. The Science Park in Granada is one ideal place that is a wonderful experience for kids as well as being enjoyable for adults. There are many different activities, puzzles and exhibits in different rooms of the museum. The planetarium explains the beginning of the universe and contains a 75 cm telescope for observing it. Human DNA, the world’s population and a study of the human body are a few of the exhibits/activities that can be done in the Biosphere Room. The Explore Room offers many different science ‘experiences’ where children can learn while they play. And that’s not all; there are also daily puppet shows, a falconry exhibit that teaches all about flying predators and a butterfly garden. The possibilities of fun are endless in the Science Park!
- Take some food and water with you, there is a lot of walking around and exhibits to visit and you will get tired. The Museum cafe is not very good and not worth the money.
- Wear comfortable shoes and clothes that will allow you to walk around and not feel tired.
- You may not enjoy it if you do not have children. Some people do, some don’t.
- Visit all the exhibits and rooms.

This was a pretty cool science museum and tons to do to keep the kiddos busy. We got there about 3 and it closed at 7, so 4 hours total. We still didn't get to see everything, so plan accordingly. Also eat prior or bring snack/meal. I'm not sure if your able to eat in there but I did see others do so. They have lockers as well. They have a cafeteria inside too but limited on options and extremely overpriced. I had order some melon and it was sour/bad but didn't have problems returning it. They also have a nice gift shop as well. We are a family of 4, 2 adults and 2 children, bought the general + bio dome tickets, came out to €40. Not bad at all for all the entertainment. Definitely worth a visit for the kids and adults.
This was an excellent place to visit. The Biodome was by far the best part - there are parts you walk through that are completely open to the animals - the lemurs and marmosets come right up to you and jump over your head! We went on the last day of our trip and regretted it - we could have stayed all day with all the different areas and things to do but unfortunately didn’t have time. Would really recommend going!
Good park and museum, after Valencian city of art and science it was not that interesting for me in museum, but still I recommend you to go there, also price 7 eur for museum is very good. Most of all i enjoyed wow exhibition, never seen animals in such poses. Also nice area outside, and lots of wild birds you can see for free
Very interesting exposition, especially a lot of it is interactive: you can touch / launch it and see how it works, e.g. Foucault Pendulum, water transportation system, solar fountain, mountain formation. About 95% of materiel is English-translated. The exposition is huge, I could have spend 3+ visits there.
The place is amazing, the Biodome is beautiful although The Amazon section was closed. I’m giving 3 starts only because the service is not as it should be. First of all they told us by phone that the Biodome opens at 13h, and when we arrived there they told us it always opens at 14h, so we spent 1 hour doing nothing and waiting. A total waste of time. On top of that, we were not informed that The Amazon section is closed and we were charged a full price ticket.
