Located in the historic city, the Plaza de Isabel La Catolica is an urban plaza built in the 1960’s. The bronze statue of Queen Isabella and Christopher Columbus made by sculptor Mariano Benlliure in Rome in the late 19th century, is the highlight of the plaza and truly defines the place. The fountain that surrounds the statue, add to its beauty.
