Grandview Trail is a hiking trail in the South rim of the Grand Canyon. Its trailhead starts at Grandview point on desert view drive and descends down to Coconino saddle all the way to Horseshoe mesa. The whole route is about 3 miles long after a descent of 2500 ft. It’s one of the best non maintained original trails in the canyon and dates back to last Chance Mine era. The ‘off beaten path’ is really a great option for first time hikers on the canyon.

Grandview Trail Travel Tips

  • You can camp down in the mesa, there are toilets built but there is water source there. So carry ample water.
