Indian Garden is a camping ground located on the Bright Angel trail on the South Rim route in the Grand Canyon. It is approximately half way between the rim trailhead and Colorado River. There are 2 sets of composting toilets in the campground as well as a full row of toilets in the day use area on the trails north of the campground. Other than that the place is a wonderful pit stop to bunk down amidst the trees and it feels like a Green Oasis.

Indian Garden Reviews & Ratings
From the South Rim Village you head down the canyon on the Bright Angel Trail 4.5 miles into a tiny community that has a Ranger Station, campground, water pump house, helicopter pad, water refill station. A thick Grove of Cottonwood trees greet you from your 4.5 mile decent. Winter months offer very low traffic. Summer months, everything in bloom and crowded. At Indian Garden there is a Day Use area, a place to sit, cool off (summertime )...ahh bliss. A little ways down the Bright Angel Trail roughly 1 mile are waterfalls. ...ahhh least 1/2 dozen.....love it in summer. 9-10 mile RT. Awesome hike.
