One of the most important points on The Hermits Trail the Mohave point gives a beautiful view of the 3000ft tall cliffs right in front of it. Directly below Mohave Point is a distinctive red sandstone mesa with jagged edges, known as The Alligator. Accessible both by hike and by vehicle the Mohave is actually one of two point on the hermits trail, the other being Hopi point, where the shuttle bus stops. Hopi however remains crowded during sunset while Mohave is comparatively secluded.

Mohave Point Reviews & Ratings
Gorgeous views of the canyon and the Colorado river! Very nice place for sunset views also.
Hiked down the trail a bit to find some solitude and enjoy the scenery while I played super smash bros :)
Spectacular view of the Grand Canyon, hiking options and bus for less inclined.
We had a wonderful time so nice and clean.. the stuff is very friendly and helpful. Fantastic, stunning .
We were caught in a thunderstorm here and it was so awesome! The view of the wall of water coming our way was amazing. The lightening cracked across the sky a few times and that will get your attention! They ended up diverting extra buses out toward Hermets Rest to evacuate everyone. We finally made it onto the 5th bus after sheltering under a low tree. Quite the adventure!!
