One of the most tiring treks in the canyon the North Kaibab Trail is a seasonal one beginning from Mid-May to Mid-October. The trail begins at the head of roaring springs and extends till Ribbon falls which is halfway and ends at the Trail junction at Colorado River. The entire trail is about 14 miles long and is advisable to not do it at one go because of the heat and exhaustion. The hikers can camp Bright Angel or Cottonwood Campgrounds with their respective permits. However, upon completion, it also proves as one of the most fruitful hikes in the canyon.
