The Tonto Trail is one of the longest hiking trails on the South Rim route of the Grand Canyon. It begins somewhere along the south bank of the Colorado River at Garnet Canyon (western end) and ends at Red Canyon (eastern end) and is about 70 mile long. It crosses path with many other trails like Kaibab Trail, Grandview, Hermit, Bright Angel and others. A brilliant path that represents a vista of history, deposited in layers.
