Operated by the US Forest Service, the Grandview Lookout Tower in the Kaibab National Forest is a vantage point for enjoying the panoramic view of the forestry. In close proximity of the Grand Canyon, the steel tower stands 24-meters tall with a seven feet square cabin as the observation point. After climbing on the top, you will be offered a lush carpet of the Ponderosa Pine grove stretching far and the Arizona Trail that passes through. The Grandview Lookout Tower has been enlisted on the National Register of Historic Places.

To be able to climb this tower is amazing. Whoever doesn't give this 5 stars simply does not know the reality that it's almost impossible to climb towers around the country because they lock them up. Of course you're not going to see the entire canyon because that's not it's purpose. A must, when going to grand canyon. Also, the cell towers are just 100 yards away. Great service in this spot.
A great place to rest on the Arizona Trail. Has bathrooms, parking, and garbage service. No water found.
This lookout tower is open for climbing up. You can't access the tower, but the views from three stairs up is great.
