What a view! The crowd wasn't too bad when we went, but it got busier toward the afternoon. We didn't do too much hiking, but took a few pictures and sat in awe of the enormity of the place. Didn't feel that we needed to spend a ton of time here however. More of a get out and walk for a while, hit the gift shop and then move on.
You will feel small looking at this magnificent magnitude. 100% nature work and there is no tiny photo that can capture its beauty. There are hikes that can be taken if you want to dive deeper in the Grand Canyon, but the view from the rim is a fantastic alternative if you prefer a bird's eye view without the exhausting hike.
How can you not love this view. It is absolutely incredible!! The sky was clear and blue (unlike the last 2 times I tried going, fog and more fog) and the sun was shining, could not have been a better day! It looks like a painting from afar and your eyes cannot truly comprehend how big the Grand Canyon is. I will definitely be back!!
Excellent view of the natural wonder... really should be on everybody’s bucket list. There’s a nearby visitor center and book store, and there are plenty of parking spaces. It is also well maintained. Just don’t go wandering beyond the safe zone.
Superior spot for first views of the canyon upon arrival at the Visitors Center. Highly recommend checking with rangers for general info. Excellent checklists are provided for your length of stay. We felt 2 nights IN the canyon was a great choice.
