Trailer Village Rv Park Reviews & Ratings

  • We stayed here to make it easy to see and explore the Grand Canyon. We had a great time while we were here. One surprise was all the elk that wander around the campsite. One of them even scratched his head on the bunk end of our camper!. They were beautiful and peaceful to watch and it was a privilege to get to share our space with them. The campground is close (lees than 5 minutes) to a well stocked grocery store and is less that 10 minutes from the Grand Canyon Visitor's Center. We felt like we had a good amount of room at our site. One issue for us was that we were not very close to the bathroom. Also the campground is split into two sides. The sites on the other side of the campground all had grills at their sites, our site did not have a grill. With all the sites being the same price and the description saying each site has a grill we were very disappointed by this. There are shower and laundry facilities (coin operated) on site, but you have to drive to access them, so we never used them. We were glad we stayed here and had a good trip!

  • OK campground. Great location for exploring the South Rim. Needs updating. Elk wandering around the CG was cool but need to give them space. Would stay here again.

  • Brilliant location to the Grand Canyon since the shuttle bus stops here. Sites were cemented with a grass picnic area, tree and table. Checking in was a breeze and sites were easily navigable. A series of Elks stopped by for breakfast and nature could be heard in the mornings. There is no laundry in the site itself but there is at the Visitor Centre. Phone signal is sporadically accessible but staff do suggest it is a time to "switch off". On a clear night, the stars are stunning to stare at and just to get lost in.

  • Very nice place to RV camp inside the national park. All sites are full hook-up, paved and level. The shuttle bus service runs often and is very convenient. Showers and laundry are a short distance from this campground, but there are flush toilet houses on site. Short walk to the marketplace as well. The marketplace has everything you might need from food to RV supplies to souvenirs. If you're lucky you might get a visit from a muledeer at your campsite.

  • Perfect place for our RV. Shuttle bus service so you can get around the village.
