Oxbow Bend Turnout Reviews & Ratings
This is a beautiful spot for photos and to explore. One of the top photographed areas in the Tetons. We also saw a few people kayaking which looked really fun.
STUNNING! This place is known for animals. We saw elk and cranes. Get here at dusk or dawn for beautiful lighting. Especially in Fall when the leaves are changing. There is plenty of parking which is rare in popular spots in the Tetons.
If you spend a few days in Grand Teton NP, you will likely pass this turnoff several times. It is less than a mile from the Moran Entrance Station and has decent amounts of parking. The draw is the view over the bend in the Snake River back toward the mountains as well as occasional wildlife sightings. Great for sunrises or even night photography.
Loved this place. Everything intact, mountains water and fall colors. There is nothing which stops you from loving the beauty of this point.
Lovely lookout point along the river bend. Came at dusk where there were already a small group of animal watchers set up and waiting patiently. In spite of this, it waa hard to spot and find any in the vicinity. Nonetheless, an enjoyable spot to view the mountains.
