Beautiful scenic spot. Peaceful and serene. Great place for bird watching and photography. Small parking lot off a dirt road. No facilities. Off main road, 191.
Lovely spot in the valley area of the park for an easy stroll along the bank of Snake River with scenic views of the mountain ranges on the back. The stroll itself is marked by a well defined trail path. Tranquil, peaceful, and very enjoyable; only wished it was longer.
Got there about 30 minutes before sunrise. Could have gotten there earlier, not because there were too many people, but because the light was starting to creep up and I may have missed some (more!) nice photos. Once the sun peeked through, the people started to flock in. Everyone is pretty respectful though and it's easy to get a good picture (s)
Beautiful sunrise. We got there about 30 minutes before and it was so peaceful. People were respectful and courteous, letting each other get their shots in. We saw two moose.
Known for early morning sunrise and the amazing reflections from the creek. Go very early to get the good photos. Go ahead and fill up on coffee, it has a toilet.
