A great place for a relaxing walk and to appreciate local wildlife. Normally £5 per car upon entering the centre but in January there is no fee. There is a membership available to those who visit frequently. All the walks range between 20-40 minutes around the lake and fields. Fantastic scencery made somewhat more beautiful given the industrial buildings in the background. Toilets are on-site and are clean. Cafe offers sandwiches and hot food for what seems like a reasonable cost. I can recommend the tea for one and butter flapjack.
Fantastic nature reserve. Friendly and knowledgeable staff always on hand. Took a guided walk on my last visit which I highly recommend.
Always a good spot to visit. A fair area reserve and useful to find out info in what's been sighted in the area. The staff are excellent, the cafe has an surround view of the main lake. All this a short drive and a transporter bridge ride from Middlesbrough
Great place with great staff. Only problem I have with it is it closes to early. I wish I could spend more time there.
Well worth a visit. Lively place to meet friends for a bite to eat in the cafe. Good value for money and good home cooking.
