Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary, Green Bay Reviews
We had a wonderful time. We were there with our son, daughter in law, daughter, and 2 granddaughters and they had a blast. We totally enjoyed all the wildlife along with them. After feeding the ducks, we went to the park down the road, to the picnic tables and enjoyed a wonderful picnic lunch, prepared and provided by my wonderful daughter in law. We had perfect weather and a perfect day! Definitely something to see with the family!
We love this place! That are doing some work on trails, but I think that shows investment in the place. I wish people would adhere to the signs that say where you can and can't feed the birds. That gets a little crazy. I love that they tell you about each bird, how they acquired it and their name. The wolves are always a favorite. I wish the cougar had a slightly bigger area though.
It's like Disneyland in Green Bay. This was the perfect place for our kids, nieces, nephews and cousins. We were in a big group and we were there for about 5 hours enjoying all the rides and watching the kids have fun. Although the kids enjoyed every ride, I would honestly say their favorite part was the playground. The playground had everything! Had we known they also had picnic tables and some covering, we probably would have done a bbq or some sort of cook out. Next time I'm in GB with the family we're definitely going to be taking another trip to Bay Beach.
Bring a few dollars for a few bags of corn and you're good to go! Check out both sides of the bridge and make a stop in the Nature Center building, my kids are fans of the slide inside that I loved when I was a kid. Take a walk down the path and you'll find an assortment of animals like the wolves, otters, cougar, etc. Great place and can be free or very inexpensive! Great place for kids and educational as well.
I mean come on!!! This place is amazing!!! There is literally something for all ages. You can't beat the amazing prices for tickets. We have a family of six and $20 in tickets allows us to all have fun for usually 3 hours. Great picnic areas located around the park if you want to make a day of it. Parking can get tight because of it's popularity so arriving when they open is usually the best time. My kids also enjoy playing at the park after we run out of tickets but aren't ready to leave.
