Green Bay Botanical Garden - Review

One of the prettiest places in Green Bay, the Green Bay Botanical Garden is perfect to head to on a sunny afternoon. Its vibrant, well-manicured panoramas are indeed to bask in on a glorious day. The gardens are constantly evolving their design to have visitors look forward to something every time they are in the city. Safe to say, that after the Green Bay Packers this garden follows as a major draw. The gardens stay active with a host of events, programs and activities, both tot the members as well as public. This is a nonprofit garden, that came into creation in the year 1996.

  • A place to enjoy, relax and experience a wonderful garden in a whole new way. It's a great opportunity to learn more about different types of plants, flowers and trees. There is a gift shop and different events going on throughout the year. It's like a sanctuary, a place where you want to come home to. So many different trails you can choose from. Interactive ways to learn and explore your curiosity about the garden. An opportunity to borrow a golf cart for people who are not able to walk very far. It gives an opportunity for anyone to enjoy this place.

  • A beautiful garden with plenty of events year round. It’s a great spot to stop if you’re in town during the spring, summer or fall to see all of the flowers blooming at different times of the year. Even in the winter, the botanical gardens do not disappoint. They decorate the grounds with thousands of lights and put on a garden of lights show and the kids love it. The grounds are beautiful and are also great for a wedding as well. They have a few areas to choose from for your ceremony, and based on your invite list, you can find the perfect spot for special day.

  • Could use better directional signage to get there. Main entrance is easy to miss since it's off a curve of a main road. But when you get there, you'll have a great time. A good array of flora and walking trails. Be warned there are some steep hills, but there are plenty of alternative routes to bypass the hills.

  • I've been meaning to get here for awhile now and finally managed it. Now I'm just sad I waited so long. It's gorgeous and just a beautiful walk! The parts are easy to walk on. Some are paved, some are grass. The kids area is super cute and the vine maze was a blast! The variety of plants they have it's truly amazing. Definitely worth many trips and I can't wait to go to their Christmas lights in winter.

  • Admission is 10 dollars for adults which is fine. Children are a lesser charge. But don't bring small children being potty trained if you go. The garden is quite vast and there's only one remote bathroom facility which is difficult to get to in short notice. Older kids and infants would be great to stroll with. toddlers not recommended. there's also water hazards throughout the area. Otherwise the gardens are beautiful. I would go again being better prepared.
