Dam Site Camp Reviews & Ratings

  • Truly the best family get away! The water is always amazing people are very friendly and helpful. Whenever I go to the water part of the camp I always clean up any trash I can to keep it clean.

  • Had a blast! Took all our stuff across to the island and, although it had a bunch of goose (or dog) poo, we were basically alone to watch the boats going in and out. Beautiful day and plenty of sun and the water was great.

  • We had a great time.. the cliffs are fun to jump off of. 2 different swimming areas. Highly recommend

  • We had a great time, but the park definately needs to provide more picnic tables and areas. Being our first time, we didn't know all the tricks. The line of cars, waiting to enter the park, starts to form at least an hour prior to the park opening. However, if you happen to be on foot, you can just walk right in. So, unbeknownst to us, drivers in cars send their kids or passengers walking to find a picnic spot and hold it! By the time the rangers let vehicles in, almost EVERY picnic area is taken...very disappointing!

  • Love this swimming hole. Can be busy sometimes. Plenty of bluffs to jump off and clean water to land in.
