Second World War museums never get old. This one in particular describes the efforts of the French resistance through about 5000 artefacts from the war. These include maps, models, photos, copies of ID forgeries, posters and leaflets from the war years. Not exactly entertaining, the museum is nevertheless highly immersive – giving a detailed account of both German atrocity and French resilience. A lovely layout and well-translated English exhibit go a long way in making the story accessible.
