We came here during off season and It was very quite but we still had great service and meals! Amazing rooms, breakfast and dinner. Would recommend highly! Very close and easy to get to from Florence.
My husband and I recently got married at Vignamaggio and had a better experience than we could’ve imagined. What a romantic place to share such a special day! Our family and friends stayed with us there and they were all thoroughly impressed with the quality of food, service, accommodations and THE VIEWS!! You can’t imagine such perfect scenery. Every meal we had was delicious - the food is fresh from their gardens. The wine was fantastic. We bought a few reserve bottles to enjoy later. We loved spending hours at dinner trying multiple courses, being impressed with every single one. Also, we loved the breakfast spread and spent an hour or so each morning enjoying cappuccinos and delicious baked items, eggs, meat, cheese and fruits - and their grape juice from their vineyards! The hiking trails were so fun and let you explore to the outskirts of the property and take in the scenery, walking straight through the vineyards. The rooms were excellently designed and remodeled for our guests. Our Monnalisa suite was the perfect backdrop for a romantic wedding night. We felt like we were in a Renaissance dream! We will be visiting Vignamaggio for our future anniversaries!! Thank you to their wonderful staff!
Absolutely beautiful Tuscan winery! We 'got lost' in the Tuscan hills and stopped at Vignamaggio to ask directions. The staff was SO welcoming, and the property so stunning that we stayed for a tour and lunch. Our tour host was passionate and informative as he described the history of the winery, as well as the process of wine making. Our 4 course lunch was delicious and paired with 4 distinctive, delightful wine selections. We bought a couple of bottles to enjoy at our B&B during our stay in Bella Toscana! We highly recommend a visit to Vignamaggio! Martin & Diane Jacob's, Canada
A few months ago I watched the Shakespeare film "Much Ado about Nothing" and fell in love with the movie. My girlfriend grew up watching the film and insisted that we visit the house. I was imagining Tuscany to be overrated having seen more postcards and cliche images than I can count though the view left me speechless. The house is kept in phenomenal condition, the wine is local and delectable, and the food is delicious beyond words. Definitely would recommend for anyone looking to have an amazing lunch or memorable date
Definitely five stars all the way. Excellent diner in the restaurant after a tasing and winery tour. The gardens are also well worth exploring.
