Built in 1922-24, Grimeton Radio Station is a well-maintained ancient monument. The radio station includes the transmitter equipment along with the aerial system of six 127-meter-high steel towers. This historic monument shows the development in the field of communication after the First World War period. Spread across a vast land of over 270 acres, the estate consists of buildings that have the original Alexanderson transmitter, towers with their antennae, transmitters with their antennae, and houses of the staff.
