Grindavik Golf Course is indeed one of a kind. This 18 hole golf course curves around the lava field, and touches the North Atlantic. The front nine holes go right into the lava, surrounding the fairways and greens, and comes out on the farmland. The back nine holes are on the farmland and goes all the way to the ocean. Golfklubbur Grindavikur, Grindavik Reviews

  • Nice, helpful staff and affordable green fees, but the fairways and greens are in rough shape. Some interesting holes and some very unfair pin positions. Good to play if you are close to Blue Lagoon or the international airport but there are much better courses to play in Reykjavik.
