The Evergreen Lodge at Yosemite is made up of rustic little cabins with vintage style wooden porches. The lodge was built in the 1920s and was later upgraded to a mountain resort sprawled over 22 acres of wooded land bordering the Yosemite National Park on State Route 120. There are various styles of accommodation available at the lodge, each room is very well furnished and has plenty of amenities. The Evergreen Lodge even has a central plaza with a recreational center with free WI-FI, kid’s play area, a cozy outdoor stone fireplace where you can curl up next to and even a 25- person theater. The staffs are super friendly and always ready to help any visitors to the lodge.

  • Evergreen Lodge at Yosemite is a wonderful place just 20 minutes from the Yosemite National park entrance or 1 hr from the Yosemite Village. I stayed there with my wife and toddler. The lodge was very clean, nicely decorated, and very comfortable. It had excellent views of the mountains. The check-in and checkout process was smooth. The staff was super friendly and happy. There are a lot of great games available at the recreation room. My toddler had a lot of fun there. We didn't want to leave the place. The food is expensive. I would definitely recommend staying here.

  • Beautiful little resort near Yosemite park entrance. The entrance is about 15 miles, and last 5-7 miles are on an internal road. They have most of the services and rentals one might need to make the most. Including a tavern that serves pretty good food. Would recommend their beet salad. The rooms are basic and have common amenities. Our room had a small fridge, safe deposit, iron. (There's no TV. You may not miss it since the area near by is so scenic) I wish there bed was better. The pillow were really soft. May be add a few firm ones. The mattress was ok, could be better though. Staff at the park was very nice.

  • This is a rating of the restaurant and not the hotel. We came here for Christmas dinner and we're highly disappointed. The food was amazing however the staff were sloppy, judgemental and picky of who they served. My fiance and I are in our mid 20's and were appalled at how we were treated. At $50 a person a paying customer is a paying customer. Everyone else received bread with their soup, my fiance ordered a hot chocolate and they brought him a children's sized one but charged us the standard price when the gentleman next to us received one probably triple the size. Not only was the treatment and service disappointing, the bar ladies/ waitresses were more concerned with each other than guests. Of which tasted guests drinks, took sips of guests wine before it got sent out, tasted cocktails by licking the stirrers as well as eating desert at the bar in front of guests -which they had taken out of the kitchen- all whilst serving guests at the bar and telling them how good the desert was. We were checked on once and clearly didn't exist the rest of the time. No check up on drinks nor food. In fact the kitchen staff had to bring us our one meal because our waitress only checked on our food every 20 minutes and spent the rest of the time talking to her fellow coworker socially whilst tasting people's drinks and eating desert. I don't mind paying for good food and service, in fact we drove and hour from our hotel to have this meal and have a special Christmas experience. Extremely disappointed and appalled at the experience.

  • My boyfriend surprised me December 23-25 by booking a cabin at Evergreen Lodge and hiking in Yosemite. I had never been to Yosemite and it was an experience I'll never forget. Our cabin was cozy and updated rustic. Evergreen Lodge offers fantastic dining and bar, a general store, rec room, and pool area within steps if our cabin but we still felt privacy.the staff friendly and knowledgable. Actually all the staff at Yosemite were great. We are hoping to come back soon.

  • What an amazing place. Super friendly staff. Well worth the drive. Already looking forward to my next stay. Great place to escape and recharge.
