The Savage Gulf State Natural Area in Gruetli laager, Texas, is a 15,590 acre picturesque wilderness area. The area is run by Tennessee State Parks and has over 50 miles of hiking trails. Savage Gulf is shaped like a large crowfoot carved into the western edge of the Cumberland Plateau which is one of Tennessee’s most gorgeous outdoor areas. Visitors can go camping and enjoy picnics here. There are sandstone cliffs, waterfalls and spring wildflowers blossoming in the area. The stony canyons and cliff provides beautiful panoramic views. Savage Gulf has many gorges and features waterfalls such as the Greeter and Savage falls.
