El Parian, Guadalajara Reviews

  • Great place for live Mexican music, drinks, and authentic Mexican food. The front tables are reserved for parties purchasing a bottle of expensive tequila. The server was very friendly but the service was a little slow for a Saturday night. There are folkloric dancers and mariachis. After the main show you can select different mariachis or Norteno musicians to sing and play for you, you pay by the song you request. If you pay for a reserved table up front, be prepared to be bombarded with vendors selling their wares and flowers. We had a tough time enjoying our meal with family because of the non-stop traffic of vendors to our table, some of which would not take no for an answer.

  • Good food and authentic flavors. We tried the parrillada and is delicious basically a platter of different kinds of meats accompanied by side dishes and complemented with fresh tortillas good prices. Take the time to call and ask about their live shows worth going on show days ... mariachi always on sight.. cazuelas are alcoholic beverages that can make you sing even if you don't know the lyrics or language beware ") one might be enough

  • I love to see el mariachi while I eat a delicious carne tampiquena and drink a fruit cazuela with your choice of tequila

  • A very nice centralised entertertainment centre consisting of a whole block of restaurants around the edge of a large gazebo, where performers dance and sing rancheros while you have lunch or a snack. Some of the restaurants operate a system of protected tables where you have to buy a bottle of something. Of course, these happen to be the best tables...
