  • I love this treasure in Guadalupe. As a volunteer, I can say that the staff is friendly, and will share as much or as little information as you like. We often have visitors who just want directions or restaurant recommendations, and we're happy to provide that. The Dunes Center may be small, but the outreach is huge-- field trips for adults and students, housing the excavation finds from the dunes, educational classes for students, all on the support of donors and visitors. The gardens die back in winter, of course, spring through summer, they are lush. Hope to see you here!

  • Sensational, interesting exhibits. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. A must see for all visiting the central coast!

  • The dunes center does not have the price listed. You have to go inside and then fell talked and compelled to pay and visit. The outside plants do not correspond to the labels or have died. It would be nice to have some clarity as to who actually runs this place.

  • Beautifully planted little museum right in downtown guadalupe. We had a great time seeing the 1920,,'s artifacts from the 10 commandments but also the other exhibits, especially the one on the dune people "cult.". Cristina and the gentleman at the end were great, as was the film on excavating the dunes for movie memorabilia. Highly recommend

  • Small but great educational spot for adults and children. Very knowledgeable staff.
