Coyote Creek State Park is a camping park in the Mora Country of Guadalupita in New Mexico. The state Park is located an hour southeast of Taos in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. It was once inhabited by Native Americans for centuries. Coyote Creek is a tributary of the Mora River and is a popular pick for fly fishing, hiking, and mostly for day camping. The park is clean and the staffs are beyond helpful. There is plenty of greenery, flora and fauna along with beautiful views of the valley to see at the State Park. It is open all year round and also has an incredible 2 mile (3.2 kilometer) trail that circles around the park and crosses the creek twice.
