About Western Han Nanyue Kings Tomb Museum, Guangzhou
Found on Jiefang Bei Road, Guangzhou, the Western Han Dynasty Nanyue King Mausoleum Museum is the most seasoned and biggest Han tomb with the most funerary protests in Lingnan (South of the Nanling Mountain) Area. It is considered as the 80 renowned worldwide museums amongst others on the planet. The total areas it covers 14,000 square meters (150, 699.6 square feet) with 10 display lobbies. Shrouded of more than 20 meters (65.6 feet) underground, the tomb is made up of 750 gigantic stones with brilliant paintings. There are over 1,000 bits of social relics, bronze ware and terra cotta ware specifically, emphasizes the Yue Culture of south China (Nanyue Culture). The actual possessor of the tomb is the second lord, Zhao Mei of Nanyue State of the Western Han Dynasty (206 B.C.-24 A.D.). The tomb also reflects that hints of focal Chinese society, the Chu society of south China, the Bashu society of southwest China, the Hun society from the northern field, and even outside societies.
