The National Museum Of Archaeology And Ethnology seeks to exhibit and conserve the ethnological and archaeological artefacts regarding the history, heritage, and culture of Guatemala. Nestled at Finca La Aurora, this history museum showcases over twenty-thousand of archaeological artefacts along with over five thousand ethnological specimens within the exhibit space sprawling over 3,000 square metres. Founded in the year 1990, the museum is owned by the Ministry of Culture and features various artefacts dating back to pre- and post-classical age. You will find textiles, Mayan artworks, tools, indigenous displays, and an array of books, which are also sold at the souvenir shop of National Museum Of Archaeology And Ethnology.
