One of the best places to soak in the rustic atmosphere of Guelph is the Donkey Sanctuary of Canada. A lifelong and beautiful home to over 70 donkeys, mules, and other farm animals, the Donkey Sanctuary of Canada is basically an animal protection organization. The Donkey Sanctuary of Canada was originally established in August 1992. However, the idea behind its foundation goes to a young girl called Sandra Pady who pities the bad condition of working animals and decided to provide good shelter, food, and other facilities for them. The main purpose of the sanctuary is to provide a peaceful life for the abused animals.
