Guhagar beach is one of the more calm and serene beaches on the Konkan coastal area. The beach, studded with Suru trees, most of which are planted by the locals, is never too crowded or noisy; only during weekends mostly. It’s a relaxing place and the climate is almost perfect most of the time. The beach is safe for adults and kids alike, and there are no water sports available. Expect to find a few food vendors who sell homemade pure vegetarian food, local snacks, and fresh coconut water. The beach is easily accessible by road and is 30 km from the main Mumbai-Goa NH 17.
