The Guizhou Provincial Museum within 7800 square metres of area showcase more than two lakh fossils, weapons, handicrafts, models, pictures and videos. From the history and ethnic culture of the Guizhou City to the prehistoric animals and the national personalities –the museum will enrich your knowledge of the city like never before. Over a thousand ethnic artefacts from the aboriginals like Shui, Miao and Yi are there such as the embroidery, cross-stitch-works, silver jewellery, batik, brocade, wooden marriage notes and burial stones. The Guizhou Provincial Museum features bronze, lacquer, enamel and iron treasures from various dynasties that reigned more than 2500 years ago such as the Ming, Han and Taiping. Human teeth, skulls, skeleton models of Thalattosaur and Keichousaurus are also on display.
