The moderate four mile round hiking trip to Dillon Pinnacles at an altitude of about 7540-7871 feet will let you experience the scenic geology and enjoy activities like camping and fishing. The hike will take around an hour and forty five minutes at the most to complete. The main attraction of the trek is obviously the outcrop of Dillon Pinnacles towering above Lake Fork. You will find the Blue Mesa Reservoir along the 3/4th section of the trail and after that you will move towards the pinnacles through the dirt trail laden with Oak, Juniper and Cottonwoods. Reaching the last mesa before reaching the summit, you will be offered two routes leading to the Dillon Pinnacles and the Blue Mesa Reservoir by the San Juan Mountains respectively.
