Short Creek is a small tributary of Guntersville Lake which is a popular attraction for photographers and kayakers. Located near the south end of Lake Guntersville state park, the creek is very wide and provides scenic views. You can also paddle on the Short Creek and paddling downstream will take you towards the main body of the lake and the state park facilities. The surrounding hills and flowering shrubs make the Creek a picturesque sight.
