Tikli Bottom - Review

If you are tired of your busy life and the city’s hustle-bustle, Tikli Bottom is just the ideal place for you and your family to spend a peaceful weekend admiring the beauty of nature. A few hours driving distance from Delhi is a beautiful Lutyens style Haveli, located in the Tikli village or Teekli Village near Gurgaon which is set amidst a picture-perfect garden located on the Aravali Hills.

The Haveli has 4 large bedrooms to offer for guests. There are all kinds of modern amenities to make the stay of the visitor more comfortable. All the rooms here are air conditioned for a better stay during the summers. The best part is that you can also ask for a traditional weaved bed to spend the night under the open sky.

The visit can be made into a lot more than just a stay, with the swimming pools, spa and the big golf course here. All in all it is the ultimate destination for the perfect weekend. So on your visit to Delhi, be sure to make a plan for a little vacation to the gorgeous Tikli Bottom!

Tikli Bottom, Gurgaon Reviews

  • I have stayed at Tikli Bottom over the last 15 years; it is an elegant gracious well run home with glorious decor and swimming pool and gardens; about an hour and half drive out of New Delhi. The food is usually European, interesting mix of guests and lovely ambience

  • A good weekend getaway. Very peaceful. Road is a challenge. Swimming pool is a boon. Courteous people and hospitality. Overall I had memorable time with my associates there.

  • A very beautiful place. Worth the money paid for pre-wedding shoot. A very calm place with homely feel. The owner Martin is a great man. He is doing a lot of Nobel work for the people around. Feel good to have met him.

  • Tikli Bottom can be found approximately 45 minutes drive outside of Dehli. It’s owned and run by a British couple, Annie and Martin Howard, who are so hospitable and welcoming. The daily rate includes your room, all meals, and endless tea, coffee, cakes and alcoholic (and soft) drinks. The housekeeper, Muna, and her attentive staff will cater to your every whim!  We would advise you use their driver to bring you to the property, as it’s very difficult to find, even using google maps! They do have 2 dogs, plus a stray who calls TB home, but they seem to sleep all day.  Tikli Bottom is most definitely a little piece of tranquil paradise that you should visit at the end of your holiday, so you go home feeling relaxed!

  • Truly hidden..It's a pain to reach the place as you need to clearly k ow the cut from sohna road .Then its via villages and the directions given we're turn last when u see a property dealer board which we almost missed..even till u reach the area there is only one small sign outside the main gate..It's a property with a few rooms but you can spend a quiet day as it's right close to the hills with an outside garden run by a foreign couple.food waa nice and everything was well organised for a day party.Turned out to be an nteresting visit ..
