The Hakodate Bicycle Race Track velodrome was built in 1998 and is one of the most love recreational spots around the city. Covering a length of 333.3, 400 and 500 meters, the Hakodate Bicycle Race Track is a three-lane track where you can see some of the best bicycle races around Japan.

The place can accommodate around 8,000 spectators. During winters, the whole track is used as an ice skating rink. There are 4 floors in the building – the 4th floor is the plushest of them all and has the Royal seat. The restaurant and children’s room is located on the second floor while the first floor has the main entrance, a magazine room, a community lobby, and a fast food outlet. Come here to bet on trending races and end your visit with a hearty meal at the restaurant. The energy of the place is the highlight of the track while skating on the ice here during peak winters, is an experience in itself.
