Fed from Yu River hot springs town, the Yumeguri Butai is a small bath opened for free to the public in 2007. Owing to the number of hot springs available around Hakodate, to find a cozy spot with warm, therapeutic water in the middle of the city, is a luxury not many cities have. The surrounding area is a famous spot for shopping and after a long day, people come here to take a break and have a mini foot spa. The bath is shaded and during winters, it is just what you need to deal with the chilly air. You will often find people come here to treat muscle pain and foot ache or simply to feel rejuvenated in the middle of the day.
