Hakone Sightseeing Cruise, Hakone Reviews
Enjoy, relax and quiet sightseeing on the cruise from A to B island, the national park of Hakone “Lake Ashi”. The cruise is big with different design, depends on the timing. To me, going out during the winter with the cold weather to explore the Hakone shrine and temple is preferred. As lots of walking and climbing is required. Elderly not advisable for the staircase stone steps. Also to note on ferry timing slots, especially the last trip; it is quite early. However I enjoyed the experience here. If you like such quiet place, do stay on the island for a day. How nice will be ya. *hope u like it as much as I do.
Great experience, nice attractions for all ages. Enjoyed the beautiful view and cool weather. It's better to sit outside and enjoy the wind. Straight from the ship it's recommended to go to the cable car
These tours are wonderful! The “pirate ships” are gorgeous and ornate and the four gives beautiful scenic views of the lake. I wouldn’t say the VIP pass is really worth it. I felt the views were much better up on deck, even though it can get crowded. I highly recommend getting the Hakone travel pass if you will be there more than a couple days. This gives you unlimited rides on the buses, rope way, and the cruises.
Pay for the first class tickets, it's a few bucks more but worth it. Less crowded and more spacious.
Was shut down for wind around 1pm on a sunny day. We're told they were shut down for the afternoon then about 1.5h later we saw pirate ships sailing again lol. Ferry is good backup plan. Would have liked to do the pirate ships though.
