Lake Ashi, Hakone Reviews

  • It is a beautiful place with a great view of the lake on one side and sometimes when it is clear and not cloudy you would get a really good view of Mt.Fuji. There are good restaurants around the station too. The cruise from here is quite boring but the view from it is mind blowing. During spring you can witness Cherry blossom too. It’s a wonderful place for nature lovers.

  • Nice place to sit back and relax if you are visiting Hakone, Odawara area that is easily accessible by car from Tōkyō on an average 2.5 hours drive. When the weather is fine with minimal clouds, you will have great views of Mount Fuji and other beautiful mountains surrounding this calm and peaceful area. Temperatures can generally be alot cooler compared to Tōkyō especially during Winter or Spring, be prepared to bring suitable clothing so you won't be caught out by the difference in weather climate.

  • We took the boat cruise across the lake. Peaceful. Nice scenery.

  • Best to arrive early and enjoy this amazing peaceful serenity before the tourist invasion. First boat leaves at 10am from togendai pier If you're lucky enough with clear skies, you'll be able to see Mount Fuji! There are a few Tori gates, so take your time as they are all within walking distance

  • This is a beautiful lake surrounded by mountains in Hakone area. The pirate ship ride enables you to see the entire lake.
