Lake Ashi, Hakone Reviews

  • It is a beautiful place with a great view of the lake on one side and sometimes when it is clear and not cloudy you would get a really good view of Mt.Fuji. There are good restaurants around the station too. The cruise from here is quite boring but the view from it is mind blowing. During spring you can witness Cherry blossom too. It’s a wonderful place for nature lovers.

  • #Kenny's Tour Day n Nigh' The 07th spot I wouldn't disclose to other people. If you're planning to visit Jpn for the 1st time, pls spare 1 day to see Hakone hot spring in the Hell Valley and Lake Ashi. Kids, if any with you, would love to see and get on board Pirate Ship for sightseeing. Kenny @ Justavi

  • The lake ashi is so beautiful that can’t avoid sailing in it in the pirate style ship. The view of Mount Fuji from this place is beautiful.

  • A lot of activities around the lake. And very good sightsee. I recommend the boat trip, it's really not expensive and the boat are very beautiful. You can also view some spot from a different angle

  • Nice place to sit back and relax if you are visiting Hakone, Odawara area that is easily accessible by car from Tōkyō on an average 2.5 hours drive. When the weather is fine with minimal clouds, you will have great views of Mount Fuji and other beautiful mountains surrounding this calm and peaceful area. Temperatures can generally be alot cooler compared to Tōkyō especially during Winter or Spring, be prepared to bring suitable clothing so you won't be caught out by the difference in weather climate.
