Belchers Marsh Park is a little park in Halifax, Canada. It is a small area beside an apartment building and is fine for short walks, walking your dog, getting some fresh air and some exercise. There is not much to see or do at the location but a few fauna and small marsh land lake to gaze at. The park is ideal to take kids to and just unwind in the city. -

Want to take a trip from Acadia to Halifax. spend 3 days hiking. Is it best to drive from Bar Harbor or take the boat over and rent a car in Halifax? Plan on coming in late Sept. Is that a good time?

September is a great time to visit Halifax as it is the starting of autumn. And I do not think there are direct ferries between Bar Harbor and Halifax. Most of the ferry services will take you to Yarmouth and from there you will have to drive further. Driving directly will take around 8 hours and ferry drive will take around 7 hours. So, the choice is yours.

looking for a nice hotel near the centre of most attractions would like to walk or quick taxi drive to rest. and pubs or sports bars $$ not an issue but im not bill gates 4 star plus any info would be greatly appreciated

I would suggest booking accommodation near Downtown Halifax area as most of the luxury hotels are centered around here. You can choose from hotels like Hampton Inn by Hilton, Halifax Marriott Harbourfront Hotel, and Hotel Halifax.
