    This is an old castle that has now been converted into an art school. It is located right on River Saale and offers great views of the city. This is one of the most spectacular sites in the city.
  3. Kuntsmuseum Moritzburg

    The site consists of a castle which has since been converted into a museum. The museum has quite interesting exhibitions of art work including works by Klimt, Ernst and Klee. The highlights of the museum include Lyonel Feininger’s paintings of Halle Landmarks.

    This is a township which was built in the 10980s mainly to house chemical plant workers. The buildings are an epitome of and poignant example of East German Architecture and design.
