  • Such a great place!! You should visit here if you are passionated with Art! Not only the collection is very huge and nice, but also museum building is gorgeous and awesome. You should definitely take a look here.

  • All around awesome art museum. Interesting by itself architecturally, the interior design is also very pleasing. Good selection of paintings and a few sculptures from different eras. The temporary exhibitions are also excellent most of the time. A must-visit for anyone with any interest in art!

  • You can go through the full history of art within 3-4 hours. Not the most famous artists and works but very nice collection. If you want to feel the art but not hunting for hype this is a good collection. The Caspar David Friedrich collection is amazing.

  • Super good exhibition!!! Didn’t feel boring or tired for 7hours, I can stay longer if I have more time!! The temperature exhibition is awesome, hundred percent impressive.

  • Simply a must see museum / attraction when you are visiting Hamburg! They have some works of important and well known European artists, but it's really a place to discover their German counterparts throughout the different periods of history.
