Landungsbruecken - Review
These jetties are a major transportation hub, and since 2003 when the government declared them a national monument, have been darawing large throngs of tourists. As a result, a lot of cruises leave from here and a lot of restaurants have popped up in fierce competition to each other. Excellent seafood at reasonable prices. Sounds like heaven, wouldn’t you say? There are a couple of museum ships around too. Just ask for them. If you happen to come here in May, you might be lucky enough o catch the Hamburg Harbor Festival, an absolute delight for your stomach. Also, visit the popular attractions in the city by following Hamburg itinerary 1 day.
- If, on your way into the city from the airport, you obtained a day-pass (Tageskarte), on reching this place, you can take the Ferry No. 62 for no charge. Check the café at the end of the ride. It’s awesome.
- Its always open.

Landungsbruecken, Hamburg Reviews
Very interesting.. worth seeing as It takes only about 1 hour. But you can also stop in the other side, there's a very nice panoramic place with also a bar, or you can bring yourself a beer and enjoy
Good place to spend one weekend. One can enjoy nice ferry trips. There are good hotels around.
Interesting and cool 1 km tunnel connecting St Pauli and the port lands. Under reconstruction and beware of the flying cyclists, but an interesting place to visit. Take the elevator or walk the steps down and up. Great views of Hamburg from the port side.
Amazing place to visit especially for the Port festival! Lots of food, drinking, boats and fun! You can quite easily spend an hour here or even the full day. You can go on plenty of boats moored up or boat tours too. They even had a Disney boat. Most boats we saw had admission fees (even the ones moored up).
It's not really a tourists attraction area. Instead, it's a ferry and Elbe River boat ride pier. One can view the new Hamburg concert hall and the cargo containers port from this pier.
