St Michaels Church Reviews & Ratings
If you like heights this is the best view of hamburg with a 360 degree view from the viewing area. Climb the stairs with some interesting information boards on the way up or you can take the lift. Well worth a visit.
That was great place to visit and to see what it is like in a catholic church. The visit up was beautiful. This is like an equivalent to the Eiffel Tower except in Hamburg. It was pretty windy up there and you can certainly enjoy the great city view up there. I highly recommend that you visit the place and check it out. It's worth visiting. Price wasnt so bad. About 5 euro I believe. Go and visit
Make sure you take the tour to the tower. The view over the river and at the most impressive buildings of Hamburg (Elbphilharmonie, TV Tower, etc.) is really awesome. The ticket is 5 EUR, but the money goes to renovation of the church, so it's a nice thing. There is an elevator, so you don't need to take the stairs!
Nice church. 5 euros to access the top. 452 steps to the top. Took the steps up and elevator down. Worth the hike - great views.
Honestly I'm not one for religion but this is beyond that... This church has been rebuilt twice over the last 300 years due to fires and at this point it's a masterpiece considered by many to be the 2nd most beautiful church in all of Germany. The view from the tower is truly worth while.
