  • Had such a wonderful time tonight at Aberdeen Tavern! Took a friend for her birthday, Pepe took great care of us and she felt very special. The food was FANTASTIC (the Buffalo Cauliflower was so good we ordered another one). Generous portions, elegant comfort food at a reasonable price point. The staff is friendly, outgoing and warm. The hostess, other servers and managers popped by to chat and we loved it. Beautifully appointed - Definitely not your average Tavern. Thank you Pepe and the Aberdeen staff! We’ll see you soon.

  • Great location and ambience. MIxed reviews on the food from my table. 2 of 5 thought is was very good. The other 3 said they could do better at home. Wine list needs to be expanded with more warm climate wines. Cocktails were a highlight. The only really true negative was that some chuckle-brain smoker had to keep going outside to smoke and did it right in front of the doors so he stunk up the place when folks came in

  • As a family, we have dined at The Aberdeen Tavern on numerous occasions. We have always enjoyed our experience. Tonight, we attended for a special celebration. The service was dreadfully slow, despite our server initially so accommodating. The food was sub par, lukewarm, small portions. I ordered "braised beef", which was terribly dry, the "potato" accompliment was unrecognizable, not certain what it was supposed to represent, perhaps a square layered scallop? It was dry, tasteless and anemic. Everyone at our table of 8 were terribly disappointed. This night meant so much to us all. We were shocked by the cost! The portions were shockingly inadequate! The atmosphere was the only saving grace. We will NEVER return and will advise our other family and friends to boycott this establishment. I believe "The Aberdeen Tavern" have become "too big for their britches"...they have ruined a wonderful thing! Shame on the owners.

  • I was here for a business lunch. For lack of a better word, the food at Aberdeen Tavern is overpriced. The restaurant looks great, it's got stellar furnishings. It strives to appear classy. The food looks great, it even tastes good. But it doesn't convince me that it's worth the price. Ultimately I wouldn't go eat here on my own dime, there are better places to spend my money. The service also seems hit and miss in terms of timing.

  • This has the worst service, why have a host stand to greet customers when they have zero customer service skills. The waitress did not have any service skills, zero personality, she clearly did not like her job, reaching across a customers chest to remove plates unprofessional especially when " excuse me" would have been nice. We had to ASK for a desert menu than was tossed them on our table. We have ladies night regularly and this was our first visit and all 6 of us were highly disappointed. You need to train your staff or get ones that represent your restaurant much better.
