The waterfront is a beautiful sight in the fall. Trees are bright red, crisp breeze in the air. And the sailboats are being pulled out for winter hibernation until summer returns next year. All is great.
Easily one of my favorite places to ride in this city. Even when it's "busy" it's still quiet. If you're into old cars, go Wednesday or Thursday night because there is a really great car show. Pretty sure it's Thursday nights during the summer.
What a great park on the waterfront. Tugboat playground is spacious and really allows kids to run freely without older kids knocking down the littles. Splash pad is simple but fun. Great view of the harbour. Right next to it is a large grassy field with plenty of picnic table and free space for kicking a ball. The beach is tiny but it's fine for the small ones to dip their toes in the water. We brought the kids bikes and scooters. 3 hours later the 3 year old was ready for nap time.
Nice, safe place to go for a trek to see all kinds of nature-related things right on Lake Ontario.
Nice park. Good access and quite scenic. Too bad about the goose droppings everywhere and the smelly water.
