Royal Enclosure, Hampi Reviews
Very calm and beautiful landscape scene. With the large pool of medicinal importance. This is the place from where the royal family used to address the general public. Have very large open space and almost 10000 persons can accommodate.
This entire area inside the Royal Enclosure is to be visited with a nice guide. We had a fairly average one who described the various buildings etc inside the enclosure. This was the royal area which had offices, mint and courts. The place where the kings and royal ministers conducted their business. The Public Bath is also near to this place and there are a lot of ruins that one can walk around and explore here.
The building structures and sculptures are breathtaking. The Olympic sized swimming pool is an awesome indicator of the physical strength of the ancient sportsmen. Makes a good trek But it can get real hot on sunny days. Carry water.
A place where you can see just the foundations on the ground level and no buildings are constructed . That means the monuments are demolished till ground level. Government has made some finishing touch so that it can be viewed better
Very nice place to see.. Ruined sculptures ,,architecture wonders during vijayanagara dynasty is visible here.. During day time it is very hot .. Need to walk long distance to see all the structures do not depend on guides they will loot you .. No hotels available in near by area to have a hygienic food .. At least 2days it will take to cover all these places..
