Sunset Point, Hampi Reviews
This place is situated just next Virupaksha Temple in Hampi. Take a left from the entrance instead of going inside and after a minor climb you reach here. Thia is one if the must visit places in Hampi to watch the sunset. Just sit back on the stone bench or the rocks and watch the sun set far on the hills. The sky turns magical with the amalgamation of colours and you'll witness one of the best sunsets. Note: Tripods are not allowed in this area.
This place is made for Nature lovers, sunset looks really so beautiful, and this place is best to spend with children and family, and if anyone want to be alone this is the place for them. Good place to spend in weekend specially at evening time.
Situated adjacent to the virupaksha temple, this place offers a beautiful sunset view as well an elevated point to view the hampi ruins.
I think this is the best place to watch sunset other than mountains in hampi. On a sunny day you should reach sunset point at 5:30pm. Because the weather is too hot around those rocks, so there are chances you may get sunstroke. The view around hemakuta hill is scenic with virupaksha temple on one side, rocks on other side and lush green fields on another side.
Amazing. .Be careful about your belongings from the pink faced monkeys they just take away
