Sprengel Museum Hannover - Review
From the outside and from the inside, this building is as space age looking a it gets. Showcasing most the works of Bernhard Sprengel, the museum is austere yet grand in its exhibition of terrific modern art, with paintings from practically every great name in the business (Max Ernst, Fernand Leger, Paul Klee, Pablo Picasso, Emil Nolde and Max Beckmann) thrown in. The collection continues to grow. It collects more than painting though. Sculpture, drawings, and photographs are just as carefully curated.

Sprengel Museum Hannover, Hannover Reviews
Many interesting things to see in the permanent exhibition as well as in the temporary ones. Beware: 18.00 is closing time but they begin to push everyone out 15 minutes before!
Dont know why it took me so long to make it here, but it was great. Enjoyed the collections! Fridays are free.
Wow, so much packed into this museum. Right next to the Maschsee, very good time.
This art gallery has an incredible collection with Picasso's Klee Bacon Dumas to name a few, housed in the most spectacular architectural gallery. A great book shop, coffee shop and kid friendly spots. Wear your walking. Fantasic views if the lake a pleasure to behold from the warmth of the gallery in a cold day.
I enjoyed this museum quite a bit. I've seen a number of modern museums and sometimes they feel almost too outlandish...like the artist's statement is just about being different but nothing else. This museum seemed to have more behind the art. I will go back next time I'm in Hannover.
