I stayed for 5 days, two days in the mixed dormitory and three days in a private room. Both very clean and staff were very helpful. Free breakfast from 7-10am. Free beer from 7-8pm. It's definitely a party hostel... Every night there's pub crawl. Hostel offers many services including laundry, transit to another city, tours, and even visas. Good location, close to many good food and tourist areas
Originally, I stayed in the Cat Ba Island Central Backpackers Hostel. Sadly, I left my phone behind there and went to the Old Quarter location in hopes of getting it back while I was in Hanoi for a few short hours. All the staff at the Old Quarter were SO helpful in getting my phone back to me. After many emails and calls back and forth, the staff (in particular Huong) specially sent my phone all the way to Malaysia where I would be staying next. I am so grateful for their willingness to work with me and help me get my phone back! Thank you!! I would highly recommend this hostel based on customer service alone!
For a 'party' hostel it was surprisingly clean and well maintained. The free walking tour was very good and gave a brief overview of some interesting sights. The Hostel is excellently located, and the free breakfast and beer were very nice additions. The biggest flaw was the front desk staff could be more friendly and their English wasn't great. Overall this hostel was social, quite clean, and seemed well organized.
Great location, breakfast and one hour of free beer and pub crawl. Friendly staff, the only issue was the internet sometimes don't work at the rooftop or rooms.
Great hostel! A very big place with shotty wifi. Breakfast is decent and staff are nice. Free beer every night but if youre staying on lower floors the music from the sky var shouldnt bother you. Great location
